Here’s one of the easiest and most useful Farmville cheats you can do. You can trap your farmer inside other objects to keep him from walking around. This will speed up all of your plowing, harvesting, planting and other activities because your farmer will no longer walk from place to place first. Creating the trap is easy to do and many different objects will work. The most popular option seems to be hay bales.
To set the trap, place three hay bales together with a space in the middle and one side of the trap left open. Then click to the empty space in the middle to get your farmer to walk inside. Once your farmer is in place, close the trap by placing the fourth hay bale. To make this even more effective, create the trap around the exact center of your farm. This is where you usually begin when you log into the game. That way, you won’t need to reset the trap each time you play

You feed the doggie treats to your dog AFTER the 14 day puppy stage. If you are still within your 14 days then all you can feed them is Puppy Kiddle.

Farmville – Tree and Animal Profit Values
In FarmVille you now have the ability to harvest your animals in addition to your crops. So below I have compiled a list of profits for trees and animals. I am assuming that the initial cost of all of the items listed below is zero since it’s possible to gift these items to yourself. Thanks to Farmville Guides for the info.
*This is how much you would make per week if you were able to completely fill a single farmable plot with this animal/tree. It should be noted that the horse and cows take up twice as much space as the other animals. This is why the lot profits for them are so low.
**This animal was only available for a limited time.

Farmville, Coins when Plowing..
http://www.FarmvilleGuideBook.com
When you are plowing, sometimes you can find coins
Is it just 1 coin?; or does is represent more?
When do you find them?
Its totally random and after the coin pops up, you receive 100 coins and thats all.
and you do not have to click on the coins or anything---it is automatic.

Farmville : Bull in the Dairy Farm Leads to a Calf
http://www.farmvilleguidebook.com
You can place a single Bull into your Dairy farm and have the possibility of finding a baby calf.
Depending on the amount of a certain type of cow you have in the building dictates the colour of the calf. For example I have mostly brown cows and tend to get a brown calf to publish on facebook for my neighbours.
I have a green, standard and a brown calf myself and am looking out for a pink one to complete the set .

Is FarmVille the future (of gaming)? Article From MSN
Canadians are among the most FarmVille-obsessed people in the world. What makes this Facebook game so popular?
Sharon is a respected member of her community, but she has a secret. That's why she won't let me use her last name. The Toronto native is director of business affairs for a major corporation and a mother of two, and she — like 74 million other people around the world — plays FarmVille.FarmVille is a game that is accessed through Facebook. It's incredibly popular, and deceptively simple. Basically, the player owns a virtual farm. On it, he or she can plant crops and raise livestock. These items can be taken to the market and sold for coins, which can then be exchanged for supplies, seeds, livestock, fertilizer and even things such as more land, vehicles and a bigger house.
Developed by San Francisco-based Zynga — which also gave us MafiaWars and countless other Facebook-based games — FarmVille has been a huge success. It's the most popular app on Facebook and has more than twice as many regular users as there are people in Canada. And Canadians are among the most FarmVille-obsessed people in the world — we rank sixth in the world in FarmVille players. In fact, Canadian FarmVille players outnumber real Canadian farmers by at least ten to one.
* Video: Best new video games
And although FarmVille is free to play, Zynga is raking it in with annual revenues of over $100 million and a profitable bottom line. Most of that revenue comes from players — desperate to get supplies and other items they haven't earned yet — who use credit cards or PayPal to buy them. Rumours of a Zynga IPO are rampant, and a Russian gaming firm, Digital Sky Technologies, bought into the company with a $180 million investment last month.
And it's played by an enviable demographic. FarmVille is very popular particularly among 18-35 year-olds and has a 60-40 female-male split, according to Zynga. But they are hardly the only ones playing. Because it's fun in a way that's not violent or controversial, it appeals to all age groups and diverse tastes. "A friend of mine, his 80-year-old parents play FarmVille," said Bill Mooney, Zynga's Montreal-born vice president and manager of FarmVille. "And I guarantee there aren't many 80-year-olds out there playing Halo 3."
Like many adult players, Sharon was introduced to FarmVille by her kids. "My [nine-year-old] daughter wanted to play it, so I let her use my account because I don't want her on Facebook for any other reason," she said. "Then I started doing it with her and I got addicted."

Tips for Making Big Amounts of Cash in Farmville
a few basic principles of life that remain the same in FarmVille. One of those principles is the law of the mighty dollar. You still need money for just about everything you do. You have to purchase the seeds to plant, and you will also need to pay a modest sum for each piece of land you plow.
These fees are unquestionably managed because you are selling your crops for more than your investment in planting them. There are a lot of other things you can buy in the FarmVille marketplace to deck out your property, and some of these upgrades are inaccessible without a large amount of cash.
Getting these upgrades will also get you some necessary experience points to boost your progress and help you can move on to the next stage. You have to develop a method to produce considerable amounts of money for all the special items you want to buy.
Techniques For Money Making In Farmville
With Farmville you need coins for almost everything, so you have to beef up the earning potential of your land. The best way to do this is to discover which crops make you the greatest amount of coins per hour.
Let me give you an example.
Selling strawberries earns you 35 coins per plot of property harvested and they need 4 hours to mature.
Even though pumpkins earns you 68 coins per plot of property harvested, Pumpkins take 8 hours to grow and mature.
So think about it, for the same plot of land harvested, you'll earn 8.75 coins per hour by planting strawberries, while the pumpkins will only earn you 8.5 coins per hour. I know this may seem like it's not a huge deal, but these tiny amounts will snowball quickly in Farmville. Remember to harvest your plants as soon as they're ready and replant on that spot right away or you will not be receiving your earnings potential.
Always Go For A Fast Turnaround
With Farmville you have to effectively use your time both on the game and away from it.
Big Tip:
Anytime you know you're not going to be capable of managing your land for 8 hours it would be beneficial to plant pumpkins. You make less money the longer you wait to sell it after the crop is ready to harvest.
You only earn money from crops that grow quickly when you are able to sell and replant ASAP.
So keep all this mind when you are buying seeds for your farm and you will definitely see your bank account increase greatly over time.

New Farmville Animal
Farmville has discovered a new critter around the farm. You can now become the proud owner of an adorable lop-eared bunny. And don’t worry… it won’t eat your crops. This new animal is available in the market under ‘Animals’ for 9 FV dollars, which in my opinion is not worth it. Keep the bunny, I’ll save my FV dollars for mystery boxes!
